Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Platform Engineer to join their
platform team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead complex cross-team projects to enhance engineering velocity,
system reliability, and operational cost optimization
Design and architect new software systems and introduce new
technologies to support growth
Mentor engineering teams and promote excellence in engineering
processes and culture
Required Qualifications
Experience in API and application development, ideally with
languages like Ruby or Python
Proficient in data modeling and optimizing relational databases
such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
Expertise in building cloud infrastructure and services in AWS or
equivalent
Familiarity with GitOps tooling for infrastructure automation and
CI/CD pipeline automation
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker
and Kubernetes
