Job Description:
A company is looking for a High Voltage Engineer who will be
responsible for the transmission line design and oversight of
contractors in related projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design transmission lines and oversee contractors for generation
tie lines, reconductoring projects, and new transmission lines
Order materials, issue drawing packages in PLS-CADD and AutoCAD,
and ensure quality assurance of contractor work
Attend project meetings, represent transmission engineering, and
provide updates to stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
At least 8 years of experience with high voltage systems, including
220 kV and 500 kV
Proficiency in PLS-CADD software
Experience in high voltage transmission line design
