- Matching 401K Job Description: We are seeking a Full-time,
on-site Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, fellowship trained
Physician for our Residential Treatment programs. Minimal weekend
call and weeknight call required. As a Psychiatrist at Reliatus
Behavioral Health, you will play a crucial role in delivering
comprehensive psychiatric care to our clients. You will work within
a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, social workers, and
other mental health professionals, to provide a holistic approach
to mental health treatment. Essential duties include conducting
comprehensive psychiatric assessments/evaluations and mental status
examinations (MSEs) of child/adolescent patients, providing
multi-axial diagnoses according to the Diagnostic and Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) approved by the American
Psychiatric Association; developing and implementing individualized
mental health treatment planning for assigned child/adolescent
patients; providing competent psychotropic medication treatment and
other psychiatric treatments to meet the needs of assigned
child/adolescent patients; performing related tasks as required.

individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess and screen patients by conducting psychiatric
evaluations, including interviews, medical histories, physical
exams, observations, and psychological testing
- Analyze data and results of assessments to diagnose
patients
- Prescribe and administer medications according to
diagnosis
- Monitor patients to determine efficacy and potential side
effects of medications
- Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan,
and make adjustments as needed
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Complete all necessary clinical documentation in an accurate
and timely manner
- Collaborate with a broader team of physicians, psychologists,
and nurses to assess and adjust treatment plans
- Coordinate and communicate with case managers and other
stakeholders about treatment and care Job Qualifications:
- Current and valid board certification in psychiatry
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school and completion
of an approved psychiatric residency
- Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia
- Current DEA registration
- Excellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM
criteria
- Familiar with crisis assessment tools and techniques
- Strong working knowledge of general psychiatric principles and
practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills With over
