*Key Responsibilities*
* *Prepare the Operating Room*: Set up and sterilize all necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies for cardiovascular surgeries.
* *Assist the Surgical Team*: Help the surgical team in donning sterile gowns and gloves and maintain sterility throughout the procedure.
* *Prepare and Position Patients*: Ensure comfort, proper alignment, and safety while positioning patients for surgery.
* *Anticipate the Surgeon's Needs*: Pass necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently and accurately during the procedure.
* *Maintain Sterile Field*: Adhere to aseptic techniques and monitor equipment functionality to ensure the sterile field is maintained.
* *Assist with Patient Monitoring*: Check vital signs and ensure the patient's oxygen supply is adequate during the procedure.
* *Handle Surgical Specimens*: Safely handle and dispose of surgical specimens in line with established protocols.
* *Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals*: Work closely with nurses, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and biomedical equipment technicians to deliver optimal patient care.

*Requirements*
* *BLS Certification* (required)
* *CST Certification* (required)
* *2+ years of Surgical Technologist experience* within the last 5 years
