Job Description:
The Opportunity: Customer Service Representative IThe Port of
Virginia - Virginia Port Authority is seeking a Customer Service
Representative to interact with Port of Virginia customers through
various forms of communication to provide information in response
to inquiries, concerns, and requests about terminal services,
procedures, and terminal systems. This individual will follow
established customer services policies and record details of
customer interactions into relevant software.What You'll Do:
Responsibilities
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to appropriate resource
for resolution.
- Record details of customer interactions and action taken into
MS Dynamics CRM service platform.
- Follow established customer service policies.
- Enter new customer contact information into MS Dynamics CRM
service platform.
- Provide feedback to Customer Service Manager on issues
impacting customer service.
- Provide prompt resolution to customer questions, issues, and
complaints using various terminal systems as required and/or by
telephone or other electronic means.
- Ensures public records and information are managed, maintained,
and disposed in accordance to the Library of Virginia retention and
disposition schedules and the Virginia Port Authority records
management policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all security and environmental
regulations and policies within work area at all times. This
includes properly addressing issues through action or reporting
matter and concerns to Manager.
- Other task and assignments as directed.
Who You Are: Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience in a ship line or related industry in customer
service setting preferred.
- Experience working with a CRM preferred. You Should Know:
