Job Description:

A company is looking for a Variant Scientist to work with Clinical Teams on patient molecular reports for clinical utility.

Key Responsibilities

Classify somatic and germline variants for various NGS sequencing tests
Analyze clinical molecular data using in-house software tools
Summarize genetic test results to generate high-quality clinical reports

Required Qualifications

MS or PhD degree in Cancer Genetics, Human Genetics, or Biological Sciences
Prior experience in a diagnostic laboratory and clinical report writing
Familiarity with human mutation databases and genome browsers
Oncology experience is strongly preferred
Flexibility to adjust priorities based on workload or management needs
