Open to new grads who wish to be trained in different modalities! The Radiology Department at Sentara Leigh Hospital offers a variety of services and average 130 units of service every 24 hours. They are a well-staffed unit with a long-standing management team. This magnet hospital offers all GE CT Scanners and long-term opportunities to grow within Sentara.CT Techs perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.Requirements:

• Trade School Graduate- Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(American Reg of Radiologic Tech)or CNMT(Certified Nuclear Med Tech)
• BLS- Basic Life SupportOther:Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, VA, is a 250-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977.
