Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring a Radiation Oncology
Therapist to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level One
Trauma Center in Norfolk, VA.
A Sign On Bonus of $15,000 for qualified candidates!
Relocation packages available!
Hours/Shift:
Full-time, dayshift hours.
Rotating start time dependent on patient volume, hours will fall
between 6am and 5:30pm
Job Requirements:
Associate's Level Degree - Radiologic Technology REQUIRED
ARRT Registered (preferred) or ARRT eligible REQUIRED
BLS REQUIRED
New graduates required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.

This position will provide radiation therapy to patients as
prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist according to established
practices and standards. Duties may include reviewing prescription
and diagnosis; acting as liaison with physician and supportive care
personnel; preparing equipment, such as immobilization, treatment,
and protection devices; and maintaining records, reports, and
files.
New graduates are required to pass boards within 6 months of hire.
Applicants who completed an approved certification program prior to
2016 in lieu of associates degree will also be considered.
